The main characters of such tapes are vampires, werewolves, zombies, etc. As in many genres of cinema, in horror films, a picture of the struggle between Good and Evil appears before the viewer. However, the victory does not always remain with the Good.

The first film studio in Hollywood was founded in 1911. Linder, whose creative output had a significant impact on the development of this genre in world cinema in general and on the work of the world comedy classic Charlie Chaplin in particular.

The author focuses on the work of theater actors of Les Kurbas in the cinema, which makes it possible to judge the contribution of the great director to the art of cinema, despite the fact that no film directed directly by Kurbas has survived. The actors of the Kurbasa theater showed themselves brilliantly in the films of O. Dovzhenko, I. Kavaleridze, and other famous directors, fully taking advantage of the lessons of their great teacher.
