Cinematic art plays a very important role in the culture of the United States. Lang (1890–1976) – “The Nibelungen”, “Weary Death”: F. Murnau (1889–1931) – "Nosferatu", "The Last Man".

In classic films of the western genre, the action takes place in the American Wild West in the 19th century. The conflict usually unfolds between a gang of criminals, representatives of the authorities and bounty hunters.
